I was born in Washington, D.C. and have lived in the Mid-Atlantic all my life. I relocated to Easton, Maryland twelve years ago to live in a vibrant art community. My favorite medium is oil painting. I particularly enjoy painting landscapes and flowers, and still life. I also enjoy pastel painting and collage.

My collage work almost always tells a story. Many of them are large, and some have short poems written for them as well. I also like to combine small crystals, wire and sometimes pastel into my collage work.

I have previously shown my work at the Church Alley Gallery in Easton, Maryland, Quiet Waters Park in Annapolis, Maryland, the Academy of Art Museum Member Show, the Easton Studio and School 2018 and 2019 Holiday Show, the 2020 Oxford Fine Arts Online Show, the 2020 Artists for Justice Show in Easton, MD, the 2020 Collaborative Painting to help raise money for people in the Easton Maryland area most affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, the 2020 Portraits of Black Lives Lost, Dorchester Center for the Arts in Cambridge, MD, the 2021 Oxford Virtual Fine Arts Show in Oxford, MD, the 2021 Labor Day Show and Sale in St. Michaels, MD, the 2021 Annual Members Exhibition at the Academy Art Museum in Easton, MD, the Working Artists Forum 2021-2022 Small Gifts of Art show at the Library in Easton, MD, the 2022 St. Michaels Art League Rotating Exhibit at the Blue Crab Coffee Shop, the 2022 Working Artists Forum Space Shapes and Scapes show at the Columbia Art Center in Columbia, MD, the 2022 St. Michaels Art League Banner Program in St. Michaels, MD and the 2022 St. Michaels Art League Banner Show at the St. Michaels Coffee Shop in St. Michaels, MD. 2022 – St. Michaels Art League “Labor Day Show and Sale” September 3-4, 2022, 2022 – Working Artist Forum “Going Downy Oshun, Hun” September 2 – October 1, 2022, Ocean City Center for the Arts, Thaler Gallery, 2022 – Annual Waterfowl Festival. My banner is called “Dancing with my June bug.” I also won the Susan Stewart award for best collage “Angel of Fortitude” at the 2014 Academy of Art Museum Member Exhibition.

I am always inspired to learn, explore, and continue to grow in all three mediums.
